About the Role
As an accounting economist within Medtanken Group, you are a central part of the finance department and contribute to ensuring correct accounting, reporting, and analysis for the group's healthcare operations. You will work as part of the central finance function and closely with local healthcare units, playing a crucial role in creating order, transparency, and quality in financial management.

Main Responsibilities
• Ongoing accounting for multiple healthcare centers and subsidiary companies within the group
• Monthly closing, reconciliations, and reporting at the group level
• Participation in annual financial statements and annual report preparation according to K3 framework
• Management of accounts receivable/payable and invoice workflows
• Involvement in VAT and tax declaration processes and reconciliation with tax authorities
• Accruals, internal allocations, and fixed asset register
• Support during audits and internal control
• Follow-up on healthcare revenues, state subsidies, and compensation models
• Collaboration with HR on payroll-related accounting entries and social charges
• Contribute to improvement and digitization projects in the finance area
Competencies and Experience
Education
• Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, or similar
• University degree in economics or accounting is meritorious
Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of qualified accounting work
• Experienced in preparing financial statements, annual reports, and handling VAT/tax
• Experience in healthcare sector, public financing, or service-producing operations is highly meritorious
• Experience working in multi-company environments or groups with multiple profit centers
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is meritorious
• Experience with Power BI or similar analysis tools is a plus
Skills
• Excellent understanding of Swedish accounting legislation and K3 framework
• Strong Excel skills
• Understanding of healthcare economic flows
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent position with 6-month probation period
