About the Position
In this role, you will have full responsibility for all financial administration for several of Garageportexperten's franchisees. Our finance department, consisting of four employees, functions as an internal accounting office for our companies across the country. As an accounting economist, you will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, accounting, monthly reconciliations, complete financial statements including annual reports and certain tax declarations. You will also work consultatively and proactively, becoming an important and natural support for financial and accounting issues and analysis for your companies. Most contact with companies will be via email and phone, but all employees in the chain meet a couple of times per year. The position also involves external contacts such as with auditors.
The finance department is a small team where each employee receives significant individual responsibility and supports one another. The department is part of the entire chain's support office, collectively ensuring results and good service for all franchisees. The goal is always a triple win: benefit for the customer, franchisee, and the chain. There is pride in the chain's development and market-leading position, with continued growth anticipated. The position is ongoing, located at the support office in Linköping.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who thrives in a role combining both routine and more advanced/varied tasks. You have a couple of years of experience in financial work, having worked independently with the entire process from ongoing bookkeeping to annual financial statements. Experience working at an accounting firm with extensive customer experience and an advisory role is a significant advantage. You may have also had comprehensive financial responsibility within a single company.
Fundamentally, we believe you have post-secondary education in finance/accounting, such as a vocational higher education degree, or equivalent work experience. Experience with Visma Business is desirable. Experience with any financial management system is required. Very good proficiency with the Office package, especially Excel. Excellent Swedish language skills in both spoken and written communication.

The role requires you to be unpretentious and self-driven, but also a good team player. You have an eye for detail, are structured and systematic in your work approach, and have good organizational skills with an ability to see the big picture.
