About the position
As an Accounting Economist at Hörmann, you will have a central and varied role in the daily financial operations. You will work closely with colleagues in finance, logistics, and administration, becoming an important part of the entire supplier flow, from invoice to financial closing. This role is suitable for you if you enjoy managing multiple processes simultaneously and want to contribute with both precision and a holistic perspective.
Your main responsibilities
In the role of Accounting Economist, you will work with both ongoing financial tasks and parts of the financial closing process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming supplier invoices in the pre-system – verification, coding, and matching.
- Preparing payment files and executing supplier payments.
- Monthly reconciliations in connection with month-end closing.
- Responsible for the accounting of corporate cards.
- Participating in the annual closing process.
- Ongoing financial tasks.
- Other administrative tasks as needed.
Who are you?
- A few years of experience working in a finance department.
- Preferably experience with the financial system SAP.
- Good command of English.
- Structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented work style.
