**About the Position**

We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team, where you will work closely with 4 others in the finance department and report to our CFO. The company is located in nice, fresh offices in Malmö.
As an Accounting Manager with us, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and close-knit operation where job satisfaction, collaboration, and short decision-making paths are key to our success. You will play a central role in our finance team, responsible for a variety of tasks—ranging from ongoing accounting to year-end closing and reporting. You will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence and improve our processes.
**Responsibilities**
Your main tasks will include:
• Quarterly closings, reconciliations, and accruals
• Responsibility for VAT, taxes, and property declarations
• Ongoing accounting and quality assurance of the accounts
• Leading the work on preparing annual accounts, financial statements, and declarations
• Participating in projects related to change and development work
• Involvement in process development and efficiency
• System responsible for the company's accounting system
• Responsibility for corporate formalities
**Suitable Background**
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in accounting and independent year-end closing work, preferably from the real estate sector. You are comfortable taking responsibility and have the ability to see both the big picture and handle details. You likely have an academic degree in finance or another relevant post-secondary education. You possess excellent skills in Excel and preferably have a strong interest in systems. Experience with property VAT and property taxation is an advantage.
