About this role

About the Position Our client, a larger manufacturing company, is currently in a transition phase. Work is underway to restructure the business and gradually transfer accounting activities to another country. The role therefore involves both responsibility for ongoing accounting and other accounting activities related to several companies, as well as an important task of ensuring that knowledge and processes are documented and transferred in a structured manner. You will primarily report to the Chief Accountant but also to respective companies. You will be part of a larger team consisting of skilled and senior employees. The position is located in Gothenburg with the possibility of working remotely 2 days/week (during the learning period, it is important to be on-site more). The work is full-time. As the company needs you as a resource (preferably) before the next monthly financial statement, the start of the assignment is immediate and is expected to continue until May 2026. Responsibilities - Responsible for accounting for several companies within the group – the specific company may vary over time. - Ensure accurate and high-quality accounting through ongoing bookkeeping and parts of the closing process. - Prepare and compile financial reports. - Ensure correct and efficient reporting. - Contribute to knowledge transfer and process transition to another country. Suitable Background We are looking for someone who is confident and experienced with a broad accounting background. You have good experience with accounting and reporting from larger groups and have worked internationally, making you comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English. To quickly integrate into this role, you have most likely also worked in a manufacturing company. Quality, process thinking, and structure are crucial, as is the ability to switch between details and the big picture. You also have good system knowledge and are accustomed to working under tight deadlines during closing periods. Personal Qualities You are confident in your skills, self-driven, and have a natural ability to create structure even during times of change. You enjoy collaboration, are attentive and unpretentious, and see the value in sharing knowledge with others. The role requires the ability to work under tight deadlines and have genuine commitment to contributing to a successful change journey.
