ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and committed Accounting Manager who wants to help develop our finance function for Sweden and our Danish branch.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and reporting while contributing to process and routine improvements. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and report to our Nordic Finance Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage ongoing bookkeeping, monthly and annual closing
- Ensure accounting compliance with current laws and regulations
- Prepare annual reports and tax declarations
- Handle VAT and tax issues
- Participate in budget and forecast work
- Develop and improve accounting processes
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors and authorities
- Key user of SAP
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Relevant academic degree in finance/accounting
- Several years of experience in qualified accounting work
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with business systems and Excel
- Experience in international business is a plus
