About Us
The Adult Education Clinic, with over 65 employees, is marked by creativity, development, engagement, continuous learning, and offers a stimulating environment where knowledge and experience are utilized in the best possible way.
Teaching is primarily conducted in an integrated subject format in close collaboration with the Department of Odontology, where theoretical education takes place. The teaching staff consists of several teams of dental nurses, general dentists, dental hygienists, and specialists, all of whom guide students together.
You will work closely with both general and specialist dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and students. Some guidance in hygiene matters may be included, which requires a sense of service and pedagogical ability.
The education clinics and Specialist Dental Care in Gothenburg, located at Odontologen, constitute Folktandvården's university dental care. This means that the clinic actively participates in the education of dentists and dental hygienists, contributes to dental research, and is part of the development of dental care throughout the region.
We are flexible regarding the degree of employment and are open to combining a position with us with your own clinical practice, for example, within General Dental Care. (Combined Position)
Job Responsibilities
As a receptionist with us, you will be the clinic's "face to the outside" and work to provide service of the highest quality, both externally and internally. It is important to be able to combine the ability to have an overall view of the clinic with being efficient and having an eye for detail.
You will be responsible for patient/customer contacts, telephone/web service, SMS/email communication, and appointment scheduling. You will also handle payments/invoicing, check various payment models, send out invitations, and manage patient lists. All conceivable customer service tasks are included in the reception's responsibilities.
You will primarily work in the T4 journal system but also in the Raindance financial program, Västfolket, VGR's various patient administrative programs, and with the Dental Care Support from the Social Insurance Agency.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- High school diploma
- Several years of experience in reception work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a good command of the Swedish language
- Good knowledge of English
- Experience with cash handling, invoicing, and customer administration
- Proficiency in the Office suite
Previous experience in dental care/dental nursing or a similar position in healthcare is an advantage. If you are a trained dental nurse, assistance and other customary dental nursing tasks may also occur to a lesser extent.
You are accustomed to and enjoy collaborating with other colleagues, learning together, and finding solutions. We value your flexibility in your work approach and your ability to prioritize in stressful situations. The job requires a professional demeanor towards the clinic's patients, based on respect, attentiveness, and empathy. It is also important that you are meticulous and have a sense of structure and planning.
About the Recruitment Process
After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are planned for weeks 49-50.
