What does the role entail?
As a reception staff member, you are responsible for providing our guests with world-class service. You are the go-to person ensuring the guest is always the focus. You will review the arrival list and pay attention to details, making sure the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You excel at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, where you meet most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security tasks, and sales activities.
The reception work involves checking in and out hotel guests, greeting them warmly, and providing the necessary information about their stay. You will manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is carried out with a focus on guest satisfaction and sales.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is essential that you are comfortable working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. It is crucial that you can convey a good sense of hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
You should also have experience and knowledge of working with computers as a work tool.
Since the job largely involves communicating with guests, good skills in Swedish and English are essential. If you speak an additional language, it is an advantage.
However, the most important aspect is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit this role, you need to be an attentive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results.
