ABOUT THE POSITION Akind, the parent company of Academic Work, is seeking a Receptionist. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, starting in December/January as agreed, and is intended to be long-term. This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Akind. Read more about our consulting offer. RESPONSIBILITIES In the role of Receptionist, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the daily operations of the reception, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring a high level of service for all employees and visitors. You will be the company's outward face and work in an environment where quality, clarity, and a warm welcome are the focus. This is a central role in a team that prioritizes high service and always seeks solutions. You contribute real value and make a difference every day! As a Receptionist, you are the go-to person for colleagues, visitors, and suppliers. In addition to staffing the reception with associated service and administrative tasks, you will also: * Handle maintenance requests in the building * Manage supplier contacts and negotiations * Coordinate communication to employees regarding procedures and act as evacuation management during fire drills * Handle mail and courier management as well as deliveries * Conduct security rounds * Organize events and happenings WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Has completed high school - Has excellent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as it is used in daily work - Has work experience in a reception, office coordinator role, or another equivalent position - Has experience with supplier contact and requirements setting - Has experience with broad and varied points of contact It is an advantage if you: - Have knowledge of Google Workspace For the role, we highly value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done before being asked, builds relationships through both professionalism and warmth, and ensures that operations run smoothly every day.
