Three years ago, we at Elite Hotels of Sweden launched our latest ambitious hotel venture – Ad Astra by Elite, located at the beautiful Snäckviken in Södertälje. Our first-class, international destination hotel with a premium approach is bringing the Riviera to Sweden. The concept, inspired by the Mediterranean and the Riviera, features a spectacular piazza with an adjoining orangery, several restaurants, bars, a cinema, activities, and entertainment. The hotel also boasts an extensive spa inspired by ancient Roman baths, complete with a garden and three pools, both indoor and outdoor. The spa, part of the company’s own spa concept Vana Spa, is the largest to date. In addition, the hotel has twelve conference rooms and 161 rooms and suites in nine different categories. Located on the quay next to Snäckviken in Astra's former headquarters, Ad Astra by Elite is a tribute to the luxury, lifestyle, and culinary culture of the Riviera. The name is Latin for "to the stars," symbolizing Elite Hotels of Sweden's ambition for both the hotel and the level of service.
The reception is the hub of the hotel, and it is often here that guests have their very first and last contact with us. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you are very comfortable in the role of being the face of our hotel to our guests and that you are willing to go the extra mile to provide them with the absolute best and most memorable hotel experience. Being stress-resistant, flexible, and accustomed to juggling multiple tasks, along with having good initiative, is essential. It is also completely natural for you to actively engage in upselling. In your daily work, you will find it easy to collaborate with all departments in the hotel.
Your responsibilities in our reception will include – among other things – check-ins and check-outs, upselling, responding to reviews, planning, managing the switchboard and emails, handling bookings, general concierge services, and maintaining the lobby and reception area in excellent condition.
At Ad Astra by Elite, we have the honor and pleasure of welcoming both national and international leisure travelers and business guests, as well as accommodation and conference groups, making the work in the reception particularly varied and versatile. Our guests spend most, if not all, of their time during their stay with us in the hotel and our many different facilities, which places even higher demands on our service and hospitality to be world-class. Our guests should feel seen and remember all staff members as ambassadors for Ad Astra by Elite.
