Welcome to Distriktsveterinärerna in Östhammar/Tierp!
At our clinics in Östhammar and Tierp, nine veterinarians, two veterinary nurses, and four animal care technicians work together. We are now seeking a receptionist/animal care technician to join our happy and close-knit team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who can reinforce our team by providing the best possible service to our customers.
You will be responsible for delivering daily operational tasks and a first-class customer experience. You will operate within all company policies, procedures, frameworks, and service level agreements. You will primarily work in our reception. This involves being available by phone for inquiries and scheduling, welcoming our customers and patients, and handling payments. In addition to reception work, you will also be responsible for hygiene tasks such as cleaning and laundry. You will also have tasks and assist as an animal care technician to our veterinarians when needed.
Some work may be required at other locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone who is passionate about service and has the ability to spread joy while maintaining a professional impression. It is important that you enjoy interacting with people, are self-motivated, and work systematically and meticulously. You thrive in an environment where no two days are the same and are not afraid to jump in where needed.
As a person, you are communicative, solution-oriented, and enjoy having multiple tasks ongoing simultaneously. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and have strong collaborative skills.
Previous experience in customer service within veterinary care, reception, and telephone work is required.
The position requires a B driver's license and secondary education. You should be able to express yourself well verbally and in writing and have good computer skills. You should be experienced in working with both small animals and horses, and experience with the LINK journal system is meritorious.
