Your Responsibilities
As an R&D Engineer, you will be part of our development team with a central role in developing new components, products, applications, and innovative solutions with unique properties that effectively solve our global customers' needs. Our Automotive customers have high requirements for delivery reliability, quality, and product performance. A significant part of your role will involve analyzing, developing, testing prototypes in the lab, validating, and practically implementing new suppliers, components, and products that create new opportunities. You will have cross-functional collaboration with team colleagues and also with production, purchasing, and quality departments to transform ideas into reality and ensure our products meet the highest standards. You will also provide technical support in your area internally across different departments.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30 with flex time
Work Location: Kalmar
Who Are You?
We are seeking someone with an academic degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, materials science, or equivalent, who speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently. We prefer candidates with broad technical and practical knowledge, ideally with several years of experience in development within manufacturing industry. Knowledge of chemistry is also considered an advantage.
You are a meticulous and creative person with a passionate interest in thinking outside the box and finding new ways to solve complex problems and develop new technical solutions or properties. You are an unpretentious team player who enjoys working in groups but also naturally drives your own work independently. We seek someone with the ability to see the big picture and who is accustomed to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
