We are seeking substitute staff for Rasmusbyn, a unique LSS operation located in a rural area between Ă–rebro and Nora. Our distinctive idea is to run a small farm together with our villagers. We share the village with horses, dogs, sheep, chickens, and rabbits.
Here, we follow the rhythm of the seasons and enjoy a fantastic sense of community. We provide our villagers with a life that is less stressful, stable, and caring.
Our care work is our focus, and our target group consists of individuals with functional variations, category 1, LSS. The operation is designed as a modern village collective and consists of four group homes with daily activities for a total of 20 villagers. Our mission is to empower each villager through individually tailored care. To thrive with us, you need to share our social therapeutic values.
We have approximately 60 employees who staff our group homes around the clock. In the daily activities, 7 supervisors work in our areas of stable, farm, creative activities, and kitchen. Everyone is involved in the work according to their function. Rasmusbyn aims to be one of Sweden's best LSS operations. We want to offer both employees and villagers a workplace with influence and joy in work. Since our inception in 2017, we have come a long way and now enjoy a good reputation and positive feedback from clients and employees. Rasmusbyn is grounded in a social therapeutic value system, and we offer ongoing training in the field both internally and externally. The goal for employees is to contribute to the development of the operation with their skills and experience.
**Job Responsibilities:**
As a care assistant, you will work in the residence of the care recipient and provide support in daily tasks. You will also work in our daily activities, which include handling animals, and some working hours will be outdoors regardless of the weather. In this role, you will accompany villagers on trips, excursions, and errands. At Rasmusbyn, we eat together in our dining room, and a meal deduction applies for this.
**Requirements:**
- Availability to work varying hours including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. There is also the possibility to work awake night shifts.
- A valid B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle to commute to and from the operation.
**Meritorious:**
- Nursing assistant training, care education, treatment assistant/support assistant.
- Experience in low-arousal approaches and alternative augmentative communication.
- Experience in social documentation.
- Experience working within LSS.
- Experience in farm work and/or handling horses.
**Salary**
We apply individual salary setting. The hourly wage ranges from 140–170 SEK/hour, excluding vacation pay.
