Your role as an Industrial Automation Engineer As an Industrial Automation Engineer at Ramboll, you will have a central role within the organization and in projects. You will be responsible for the client's automated systems, working on everything from design and commissioning to programming and troubleshooting. We offer you a varied role, where the work and solutions are carried out in close collaboration with the client. We are not ordinary consultants; we are partners to our clients, working on project execution as well as supporting their daily operations. You will also act as a mentor for less experienced colleagues seeking your expertise and support, while we offer you the opportunity to exchange experiences with some of the best in the industry. In this role, you have the option to work from offices across Sweden. Currently, many of our colleagues are based in our Sundsvall office, where we have a small hub for this specialist area. We are involved in projects throughout the country and conduct many of our projects remotely, which makes the location less important for us. We also work in a hybrid solution, so if you prefer to work from home, you should feel that this is also an option. Your main responsibilities: • Design, systemization, programming, and commissioning of automation solutions • Lead both larger and smaller projects within industrial automation • Be the technical lead within industrial automation • Collaborate with colleagues in industrial automation and with other technical disciplines. Develop together with us To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe the following applies to you: • Solid knowledge of control, regulation, and measurement technology equipment – from design to completed facility • A strong interest in automation solutions and how we can use them to benefit our clients • A high level of commitment to sustainability and sustainable societal development • Ability to collaborate across both technical and geographical boundaries • Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English • Experience in programming PLC systems or similar is an advantage.
