Welcome to Viva - Outpatient Care for Adults in Falu Municipality As a social counselor at Viva, you will enjoy a fun and stimulating job. You will have friendly colleagues and a crucial and rewarding mission. We are now looking for a new colleague to join Viva! Viva is Falu Municipality's own outpatient service for individuals aged 18 and older who have harmful use or dependence on alcohol, drugs, and gambling. We offer treatment both individually and in groups. In addition to treatment efforts, we also provide support to relatives. We maintain a close and natural collaboration with the social workers in the department for harmful use and dependence, as we belong to the same unit. We are looking for someone who wants a stimulating and enjoyable job where you can influence your working hours, as we apply annual working time! We have external supervision once a month, as well as internal case supervision every other week. Job Responsibilities As a social counselor at Viva, you will work with treatment efforts according to the national guidelines for addiction and dependency care. Viva offers, among other things, CRA, twelve-step treatment, MI, gambling treatment, relapse prevention, and support for relatives. Most interventions are offered both individually and in groups, so you will be working with both individual consultations and group treatment. In addition to the treatment tasks, your role also involves close cooperation with both internal and external partners when we need to coordinate potential interventions. Qualifications The following is required for the role: • Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as social pedagogy, treatment assistant, social work, or other education deemed relevant by the employer. Personal Characteristics We seek someone who is self-assured, responsible, and has a strong ability to independently organize your work. You easily build good relationships and have a strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners. Furthermore, we see that you are creative, enjoy acting independently within given frameworks but are also flexible and can adapt when the situation requires it. As a person, you are open, curious, and have a good ability to see opportunities, and can manage our dynamic environment where much is happening. You have a genuine interest in engaging with individuals facing dependency issues. We place great importance on personal suitability. Desirable Qualifications • Experience working with the target group. • Experience and knowledge regarding treatment work in municipal operations. • Experience leading group treatment. • Training in ADDIS. • B driving license. Employment Conditions The recruitment is for a permanent full-time position. Start date to be agreed upon.
