Swedish Prison and Probation Service is Growing – We're Building, Renovating, and Expanding, and Now Seeking More Employees. The Placement Section is Part of the Capacity Unit within the Prison, Detention, and Probation Department at Headquarters. The Placement Section Handles and Decides on Prison Placement and Transfers Between Facilities, Placement of Non-Incarcerated Convicted Individuals, and Special Conditions. Additionally, They Decide on Execution Deferrals and Issuing Alerts for Non-Incarcerated Convicted Individuals Who Have Not Voluntarily Reported. The Placement Section is Also Tasked with Coordinating and Developing Practices Within Its Responsibility Area and Driving Placement Issues at the National Level. An Administrative Office is Also Part of the Section. The Placement Section Consists of Approximately 53 Employees Located in Stockholm. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Legal Care Expert in the Placement Section, Non-Incarcerated Clients Group and Administrative Office, the Primary Tasks Include Taking Measures for the Placement Process of Non-Incarcerated Convicted Individuals, Such as Performing Enforceability Checks of Verdicts, Deciding on Prison Placement, Deferrals, Transfers, and Alerts. Extensive Collaboration Occurs with Various Parts of the Prison and Probation Service, as well as with the Police Authority, Migration Agency, and Other External Actors. The Work Also Includes Providing Support, Advice, and Training on Placement Issues at Regional and Local Levels. QUALIFICATIONS To Succeed in This Role, You Need to Work Well with Others.
