About this role
Make a difference. Every day.
Are you a curious radiographer looking for new opportunities to develop in your profession? We are currently seeking two new colleagues to join us at Radiology Kristianstad. Whether you are an experienced radiographer in search of new challenges or in your final semester of the radiography program looking for a secure start to your career, we have a place for you! We would particularly appreciate if you have experience with MRI, as we plan to install a new camera (3T) in the fall of 2026 or spring of 2027.
At the Central Hospital in Kristianstad, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff who work towards closeness and community. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times across several specialties. We strive to ensure that everyone feels welcome—patients, relatives, and employees alike.
The Diagnostic Unit (VO) consists of four departments: Radiology Kristianstad, Radiology Ystad, Radiology Hässleholm, and Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine Kristianstad. The area employs approximately 250 staff members in total, with around 110 working in Kristianstad.
The unit is modernly equipped with high-tech digital equipment. We have four CT scanners, two MRI machines (1.5 T), an intervention lab, an angio lab, two conventional X-ray machines, a dental lab, and three ultrasound rooms where we have a sonographer working on certain days. For administration, we use the radiology journal system Sectra IDS7. The unit operates 24/7 and performs approximately 89,000 examinations per year.
