Radiology Nurse

We offer a diverse and forward-looking role as a radiologic technologist at the County Hospital in Kalmar. As a radiologic technologist with us, you will have varied tasks and rotation within our different modalities, creating an enriching environment in your daily work and providing you with a broad skill set. We are making significant strides in our development as a clinic, with our ongoing efforts to implement PET-CT being one of the incredibly important steps we are taking. Our team consists of members with varying levels of experience and professional backgrounds, which we see as a fantastic asset in our journey of development. At the radiology clinic in Kalmar, doctors, radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together with a focus on the patient. We also have a few radiology assistants who are in training/supervision to become radiologic technologists. The clinic receives both scheduled visits and emergencies, which means we staff the clinic every day of the week and for large parts of the day. About You We are looking for a licensed radiologic technologist. Professional experience in the field is an advantage. It is important to us that you bring drive, commitment, and a desire to make a difference. To thrive in this role, you should enjoy the combination of meeting many patients for routine visits on some days, as well as working with complex procedures on others. You should be curious and eager to develop your skills in radiology. It is essential that you are structured and quality-conscious. Personal suitability is of great importance. Your Future Workplace We are a medium-sized clinic that offers opportunities for both breadth and specialization within our various professions. The staff consists of approximately 120 employees who together perform about 100,000 examinations per year. Together, we work in various ways to develop and manage new knowledge within the different examinations we offer, both urgent and elective. We operate a modern array of equipment including CT, plain radiography, MRI, angiography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. Work is underway to implement PET-CT by 2026.
