The Disability Care Area is Divided into Three Sections: Preventive Support and Authority, Residences and Healthcare, and Occupation, Home Support, and Child Support. We Are Currently Seeking a Department Manager Who Wants to Strengthen Our Area Management Group During This Ongoing Transformation. Your Role as Department Manager for Home Support/Personal Assistance Will Be a Crucial Part of the Continued Development Together with an Area Management Group That is Responsible, Result-Oriented, Forward-Thinking, and Characterized by an Open Collaborative Climate. Your Assignment Your Main Task is to Ensure We Provide Assistance with Good Quality and Respect Through Effective and Solution-Oriented Management. The Assignment Involves Being a Good Role Model, Loyal to the Operation's Goals and Established Political Decisions, and Following the Employer's Guidelines, Values, and Policies. As Department Manager, You Will Have Budget, Personnel, and Operational Responsibility. You Will Create Conditions for an Efficient Operation, Leading, Developing, and Following Up Your Operation Against Set Goals Regarding Quality, Employees, Work Environment, and Economy. We Work with the Approach That Our Service Users Should Influence the Operation, Thus Communication and Collaboration with Service Users, Relatives, and Internal and External Actors Are a Crucial Part of the Department Manager Role. Within the Operation, We Actively Work to Utilize New Technology as Part of Promoting Independence and Participation for Service Users. You Will Have the Opportunity to Work in an Area Management Group with Active and Engaged Managers for a Dynamic Operation. You Will Report Directly to the Area Manager and Have Continuous Reporting. As Department Manager, You Will Work to Ensure Service Users with Various Functional Variations Can Live on Equal Terms with Everyone Else with the Help of Their Personal Assistants. You Will Have Ongoing Contact with Service Users and Sometimes Their Relatives. You Will Be the Manager of Personal Assistants in Their Daily Work and Strive to Maintain High Availability and Provide Good Service so That Both Service Users and Employees Feel Secure. Your Work Includes Ensuring Adequate Staffing and Recruiting Assistants. Another Part of the Assignment is Creating Schedules, Approving Salaries, and Providing Group Supervision. What We Are Looking For - Social Work Degree or Equivalent Higher Education - At Least 2 Years of Leadership Experience with Budget, Personnel, and Work Environment Responsibility, Preferably in Personal Assistance and Service Provision - Familiar with Current Legislation, Regulations, and Directives in the Area of Disability - Good Computer Skills and Ability to Handle Various Operation Systems/IT Skills, Development-Oriented, and Easy to Adapt to New Technology and Systems - Good Communication Skills and Proficiency in Swedish, Both Spoken and Written Competencies We Are Seeking an Inspiring Leader.
