Job Responsibilities As a junior land negotiator, you will grow into the role by initially supporting more experienced colleagues and independently managing smaller cases. The land negotiator role is involved throughout the entire chain from planning, project design, construction phase to final facility handover. It is a varied role with responsibility for land access issues, which includes: • Negotiating compensation for property purchases and encroachments • Establishing property legal agreements • Handling damage settlements/disputes • Participating in planning and project design work • Representing the Swedish Transport Administration in land surveying proceedings and other contacts with authorities and individual property owners The work sometimes involves meetings outside office hours, such as public consultation meetings, landowner meetings, and land surveying meetings. With us, you have excellent development opportunities, and we see you taking on a full land negotiator role within a few years, independently providing support in property legal issues for infrastructure projects. Qualifications We are seeking someone at the start of their career who wants to deepen and broaden their expertise in property legal matters. The work involves many contacts with landowners, the public, and other stakeholders both within and outside the Swedish Transport Administration. To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who is self-driven and has excellent communication skills, meaning you convey messages simply and are attentive, adapting your communication to the recipient. We seek candidates who: • Have a university degree of at least 180 credits (ECTS) obtained in 2023, 2024, 2025, or will graduate by January 2026 in land surveying, civil engineering, or law focused on property rights • Hold a valid driver's license • Have excellent Swedish language skills (spoken and written) Preferred additional qualifications: • At least one year of current and relevant work experience in property rights Location: Örebro First interviews will preliminarily be held via Skype during weeks 50-51.
