About the Role Working as a medical student in patient-facing roles means being involved in the planning, decision-making, and execution of care measures throughout the patient's hospital stay on the ward. Examples of tasks include, with variations based on the needs of the respective departments: - Conversations and care of patients, such as admission interviews and nursing assessments - Care planning and documentation of care activities - Assisting in the preparation, administration, and delivery of medications - Sample collection, IV checks, as well as inserting IVs and catheters - Participating in rounds - Contacting relatives - Nursing discharge summaries Qualifications You are a medical student who, by the summer of 2026, has completed at least semester 9. Previous experience working as a nursing assistant or caregiver is an advantage. You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form. As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You are flexible and able to work in an environment with a wide variety of tasks at a fast pace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
