About this role

Are you interested in working with future defense technology and making a real difference? BAE Systems Hägglunds is now seeking driven and committed Reliability and Maintenance Engineers – both those at the beginning of their career and those with experience in the field. With us, you'll work with advanced technology in exciting projects where you contribute to the development of sustainable, efficient, and future-proof combat vehicles. This is an opportunity to combine technical interest with real impact – from concept to delivery. Why You'll Thrive Here You'll work with high-tech products in an organization with both breadth and depth. You'll have the opportunity to be involved from the first ideas to seeing products roll out to customers – something that provides both pride and context. Our work environment is characterized by technical enthusiasm, lack of prestige, and strong team spirit. You'll have great opportunities for skills development, internal networking, and a career path that can be shaped according to your ambitions. Your Future Challenge As a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer with us, you'll become an important part of our Reliability and Maintenance (R&M/LSA) team. Here, you'll work on developing and improving maintenance concepts for our vehicles, in close collaboration with system engineers, designers, and other specialists. Using 3D CAD tools like Catia, you'll analyze and optimize system and component reliability – from concept phase to field follow-up and design improvements. You'll work in a dynamic development environment focused on the product's entire lifecycle. This means you'll be involved from early analyses and specifications to practical work with troubleshooting, lifecycle costs, and maintenance strategies. You'll belong to a competent team of specialists in LCC, diagnostics, and system analysis – a context where your knowledge will both develop and make a difference. Who Are You? We're seeking someone with a civil or college engineering degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechanics, electrical, hydraulics, or similar technical field. You can be a recent graduate or have several years of experience in maintenance, design, or system work – regardless of background, we believe you have a genuine interest in technology and a desire to understand how things work in depth. Experience with CAD tools, such as Catia or equivalent, as well as troubleshooting or maintenance planning is meritorious. The position requires proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are analytical, precise, and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with others, are communicative, and enjoy sharing knowledge. We value a positive attitude, responsibility, and the ability to see both details and the big picture. What You'll Be Part Of With us, you'll have fun at work, and no two days will be the same! You'll be part of the product journey from idea to customer delivery. You'll work with future technology in a global company with great opportunities for skills and career development.
