About this role
I am curious about most things and enjoy activities such as swimming, visiting Gröna Lund, skiing (biski), going on excursions in the city or forest, and meeting friends, even though I live with a CP disability and use a wheelchair. You will be my arms and legs, assisting me with everything from communication support, helping me eat, personal hygiene, my mobility, daily necessary stretching, and other training.
It is important that you have a sense of humor and a youthful spirit to assist me as a teenager, be creative, have a strong work ethic, and be punctual. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability and ability to work within a family environment. If you see opportunities and have a good sense of humor, I am sure we will enjoy working together!
• Please note that we are only looking for female assistants, and you must be smoke-free.
• Fluent Swedish is required to assist me in my communication.
We are also looking for assistants who are interested in a mixed schedule of day/evening/night/weekend shifts as outlined below.
Monday to Friday, day shift from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM, every week. The position is located at my school, starting in Skärholmen or in Fruängen, or wherever I am each week. Employment is 100% as agreed.
You should be able to work independently but also be a good team player, as you will be part of a team of assistants, or step in when someone is sick, as well as work with the rest of my family.
Employment type: Hourly employment, which may transition to a fixed-term position as long as the assignment lasts and cooperation is good. Employment conditions, overtime compensation, occupational pension, insurance agreements, etc., are regulated by the applicable collective agreement between Fremia & Kommunal.
We welcome your application! (Note: Recruitment is ongoing.) Please feel free to include a photo with your application.
It would also be helpful if you could obtain a background check for working with children with disabilities at the same time you apply.
