Preschool Utforskarna is a preschool with space for 150 children located in the Linero area outside Lund. At our preschool, we focus on movement and sustainability, which is closely linked to the work done in the kitchen and what we consume, thereby building resilient children who can thrive throughout the day at preschool. The kitchen is new and equipped with a well-appointed range of appliances, providing excellent conditions for creating meals that align with our vision. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with children at preschool and sees the educational meal as a natural part of their workday.
In our kitchen, we work as a team currently consisting of three people, where we support each other with tasks based on our service to our receiving kitchens as well as our own operations. We currently prepare about 600 portions of food, which are delivered both to our own preschool and to seven other preschools within Pysslingen. The main tasks in the kitchen involve preparation, refinement, and readiness to ensure good service with a smooth and stable flow during delivery and serving. We bake our bread on-site, so strong skills in this area are an advantage. We prepare most dishes from scratch and aim for a menu that caters to everyone.

About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and creative chef who wants to become part of our kitchen team. You will work with everything from preparation and cooking to plating and quality control. This position is a temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position starting no earlier than January 7.
