About this role
Brandbergens Primary Care Center currently has approximately 8,000 registered patients and features an integrated home healthcare service with about 90 patients enrolled. Our clinic is located in Haninge municipality, right in the center of Brandbergen, surrounded by restaurants, grocery stores, and more. It is easily accessible by public transport, and there is a parking garage with staff parking available in the building.
We have a well-functioning psychosocial team consisting of psychologists, a rehabilitation coordinator, district nurses, and doctors. We receive adult patients registered at the clinic as well as children and adolescents aged 6–17 years as part of the expanded mission for children and youth with mental health issues from several primary care centers in the municipality.
We are now looking for a PTP psychologist to join our team, offering a varied and stimulating role that will provide a solid and comprehensive foundation for building your future career.
About the position:
You will work both independently and as part of a team, encountering patients with a wide range of reasons for seeking help. Patients come to us with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, crisis, and grief, among others. Within the framework of the expanded mission for mental health for children and youth, we meet families for both supportive contacts and psychological treatment. We have close collaboration with neighboring healthcare providers and other relevant actors such as child and adolescent psychiatry, the municipality, and school health services.
We work with both in-person and video consultations. Treatments are primarily individual, but we also offer certain group interventions. We plan for and encourage the initiation of new group programs.
As a PTP psychologist, in addition to patient work, you will also play an important role in the team's development efforts. We have a positive attitude towards new ideas and working methods, and we hope you do as well.
You will participate in the Stockholm Region's PTP program as well as a local PTP program. Work will be conducted under the supervision of a licensed psychologist on a weekly basis. Additionally, monthly supervision will be provided by an external supervisor with a CBT focus. As part of the psychosocial team, you will participate in weekly team meetings where you will have the opportunity to discuss patient cases with the rest of the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessment and treatment work for children, adolescents, and adult patients.
- CBT treatment for the most common reasons for seeking help in primary care, both individually and in groups.
- Collaboration within your own team and with other professional categories at the clinic.
- Routine tasks such as documentation, referrals to relevant departments, etc.
- Development work within the framework of other psychological work as part of the PTP service.
Personal qualities:
We are looking for someone who is confident both personally and professionally, capable of working independently as well as in a team. You should have a positive attitude and contribute to a good working environment. You should be interested in working in primary care with both adults and children and youth, and be willing to help drive the development of the primary care center forward. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Qualifications:
- A psychology degree recognized for practice in Sweden (to be verified by presenting a diploma).
- Basic training in CBT.
Previous work experience in primary care, specialist psychiatry, or child and adolescent psychiatry is an advantage.
Employment form:
Fixed-term employment for 12 months, full-time 100%. Start date February 2026. The position will be filled provided it is not needed for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
