Psychiatric Clinic Southern Lapland is an outpatient clinic covering all diagnostic groups. Inpatient beds are located in Skellefteå and Umeå. Our team consists of approximately 45 employees, with most of us based at Lycksele Hospital and additional staff at other locations in Southern Lapland. We work in cross-professional teams and frequently utilize digital communication tools.
We offer an exciting and varied work environment in a developing organization. We are now seeking a Psychology Trainee (PTP) for our clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Psychology Trainee with us, you will contribute to caring for others and helping people improve their well-being.
You will support and develop individuals at all stages of life. You will work both independently and in teams, conducting assessments, evaluations, and treatments under supervision.
Responsibilities will follow the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations for psychological practical training. You will have an on-site supervisor and a well-functioning psychology group. You will participate in Region Västerbotten's PTP program with half-day meetings, either in Umeå or digitally. All meetings are mandatory and include theme days led by an experienced psychologist, study visits, and discussions of professional legal and ethical issues. In addition to professional development, you will have opportunities for experience exchange with other psychology trainees.
As a Psychology Trainee, your primary tasks will include assessments, therapies, and neuropsychiatric evaluations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a trained psychologist with an interest in psychiatric outpatient work. Previous experience in psychiatric work is meritorious. You must have excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written.
You are a confident and stable person with a professional approach. You enjoy collaboration and being present for both colleagues and patients.
