As a PTP psychologist within the unit, you will contribute, in collaboration with the staff at the county's health centers, to promote mental health and prevent ill health through consultations and direct interventions for expectant parents, parents, and children. You will also collaborate with the child's broader network and important caregivers. The work will be varied, developmental, and will include, among other things, consultation, method development, and further training of staff, mapping/assessment and conversation therapy, advice and support in parenting, as well as developmental assessments at the BVC level. All health centers in Norrbotten County are within our area of work. Therefore, travel within the county to meet patients is part of our assignment. You will receive both individual supervision and the opportunity for professional group supervision. The PTP psychologist will also participate in Region Norrbotten's PTP program.
