About this role

Psychiatry Department is part of Östersund Hospital, located centrally in Östersund. The clinic is responsible for specialist-level psychiatric care, including outpatient services, emergency reception, and three 24-hour wards. The department also has a specialist psychiatric nursing team (SPOT) and an established DBT team. The area has approximately 260 employees, including over 20 psychologist positions. We are now seeking 1 PTP Psychologist for outpatient services. Outpatient 1 is a collective name for four smaller clinics: neuropsychiatric clinic (NPM), eating disorders unit, psychosis unit (PSFN), and addiction unit. This also includes a clinic-wide assessment team. Outpatient 2 is a large consolidated clinic primarily responsible for specialized care for patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. DUTIES Based on employment at one of our outpatient clinics, you will conduct typical psychological work under supervision, focusing on assessment, investigation, and treatment work. Treatment work is varied across different formats; iCBT, group, and individual. With us, you will receive a comprehensive clinical introduction to the psychology profession in a pleasant psychology group with a good atmosphere. We have psychologists with various specialist orientations and many experienced PTP supervisors. Alongside clinical work, the PTP program's scheduled training program runs with education days and collegial meetings. Our goal is for you as a PTP psychologist to gain broad and competitive knowledge of psychological work within psychiatric services.
