The health center is modern, newly built, and located in Henån. We also have branches in Ellös and Svanesund, as well as the entire beautiful island as our workplace. Currently, over 10,360 individuals are listed with us, and we are a friendly team of just over 58 employees. Everything is under one roof here: psychology, medical, and nursing consultations, a family center with child health care, rehabilitation, and medical foot care. It is important for us to have a flexible and close collaboration among all professional groups, as well as high accessibility to psychologists, to best assist our patients. As the only health center in the municipality, we also have a close and natural collaboration with the municipality’s social services, open psychiatric care, schools, among others. About the position The psychology department is a natural part of the health center’s consultation work and is therefore centrally located within the health center. We currently have two full-time employed psychologists. The position includes, among other things: - Counseling and assessment via telephone or digitally; - Investigating, assessing, and treating mild to moderate mental health issues; - Facilitating that rehabilitation processes for a patient in need of coordinated rehabilitation efforts are conducted in conjunction with the patient’s other treatments; - Participating in patient education sessions, such as mindfulness groups, existential conversations for the elderly, and asthma/COPD school. As a PTP psychologist, you will be part of the regional PTP program, which includes regular training days and meetings with other PTP psychologists.
