About this role

About Nova Psychiatry Nova Psychiatry was founded with a vision to revolutionize psychiatry and the treatment of mental health issues. We strive to offer a modern and patient-centered care experience. Currently, we primarily focus on assessments for ADHD and Autism, as well as medical treatment following diagnosis. However, our ambition is to broaden our offerings and assist as many patients as possible through innovative and evidence-based methods in psychiatry and mental health. Today's psychiatry is characterized by traditional methods and often a slow working pace, where technological advancements and the needs of patients are rarely prioritized. Many patients struggle to navigate a complex public system or turn to large providers where they risk becoming just an anonymous number in the crowd. We have chosen to do things differently by placing the patient at the center and providing psychiatric care with five-star service. Our strategy is based on patient experience, quality, and efficiency, where we utilize modern technology and innovative working methods to continuously improve and develop our operations. Our dedicated team is at the core of our business and primarily consists of psychologists, doctors, and nurses. Nova Psychiatry was founded in January 2024 and currently has about 30 employees – and we are growing rapidly. We are now looking for more driven individuals who want to help shape the future of psychiatry with us. We place great emphasis on hiring Sweden's most talented employees, and we want everyone here to feel more at home with us than anywhere else. Nova's vision is to demonstrate how psychiatry can function, for both patients and employees. We believe that it can be done much better. We are driven by the constant improvement of patient satisfaction, maintaining high quality, and simultaneously increasing efficiency through reduced administration. We believe we can achieve all this by having fun together, daring to make mistakes, and striving to be the best at what we do. About the Role We are now hiring several psychological assistants who can work remotely from anywhere in Sweden. We have a variety of tasks that need to be addressed. Some will work solely on one task, while others will handle several different tasks simultaneously. Therefore, please indicate in your application which tasks you are interested in working with. Examples of Tasks: • Conduct assessment interviews via video to determine if the patient should undergo a full evaluation. • Assist in neuropsychiatric assessments, for example, by helping to write reports, administer tests, or assist in interviewing relatives or teachers. • Write blog posts and articles about psychology, such as "What is ADHD?" • Create internal guides, onboarding materials, and routine documents. • Develop psychoeducational materials for patients/clients. • Manage bookings and customer support. The role is part-time, 8-20 hours per week during the semesters. There may be opportunities for more work during the summer. Please indicate if you are interested in only part-time work during the semesters or if you are also interested in working more during the summer. Who We Are Looking For • A psychology student who wants to help drive positive change in psychiatry. • You have a high drive and enjoy getting things done at a fast pace. • Good social skills; you are adept at quickly building trust and relationships with others. • You learn quickly and have a strong ability to work independently. • You have a flexible and open attitude toward changes and improvement efforts. What We Offer • Sweden's best part-time job for psychological assistants who want to have fun and learn a lot alongside other driven clinics. • The opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where you can contribute to the future of psychiatry. • Guidance and support in your professional development. • A flexible workplace where work can be performed remotely, but you are warmly welcome to work from our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö. • An open and inclusive work culture where we enjoy having fun together both at work and outside of it. • Opportunities for work during breaks and the chance for full-time employment after graduation. Application Process Application: Please fill in your contact details and upload your CV. No cover letter is needed. Tests: As a next step, you will complete two psychometric tests that take about 20-30 minutes each to finish. This helps us objectively assess all candidates. Interview: If you progress in the process, we will invite you to one or more interviews via video, where you will have the opportunity to get to know us and ask questions about the position. We look forward to your application and hope you want to become a part of Nova Psychiatry, where we together shape the future of psychiatry. Apply today as we handle applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis!
