Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3,000 employees work with us every day to provide high-quality, safe specialist healthcare. **Description** The BUP Affective Clinic in Kungälv is part of the Psychiatry Department at Kungälv Hospital and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. There are good transport connections to Gothenburg. The child psychiatry services in Kungälv and Ale were divided in 2020 into a unit focused on patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities and a unit focused on patients with affective issues. We are now looking for a new team member for the affective clinic. The team consists of senior physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, secretaries, and a unit manager. Access is also available to a speech therapist and an occupational therapist, who are employed in the neuropsychiatric unit. The operation is characterized by high competence and a strong degree of collaboration, and is conducted from a cross-professional perspective. In addition to various types of consultations, we also conduct group activities. All professional groups receive continuous supervision based on their profession. **Responsibilities** Qualified assessment, evaluation, and treatment work with children, adolescents, and their families. The work is carried out in a team as well as independently. We often have contact with neighboring care providers, schools, and social services. The clinic has emergency preparedness during daytime hours. **Qualifications** We are looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to help continue developing our clinic with shared commitment and innovative thinking. Previous experience in child and adolescent psychiatry is an advantage, and we also prefer candidates with experience in treating children and adolescents with affective issues. Experience in any form of emergency function is also desirable. You have an open mind and a good ability to critically evaluate your work, as well as a pronounced patient focus that is reflected in collaboration with the patient regarding diagnostics and treatment methods. Above all, you are someone who values the important work with children and adolescents' mental health and wants to work towards a prominent and accessible child and adolescent psychiatry.
