Then you should work with us - Welcome to apply! About Us The Psychiatry Department at Södra Älvsborg Hospital consists of several outpatient clinics, emergency reception, and inpatient care. The Affective Psychiatry Clinic is located in Borås, with the primary mission of serving adult patients with affective conditions, such as bipolar disorder and recurrent depression. We also have a mandate to conduct in-depth assessments based on our specialist psychiatric mission. The work team consists of approximately 25 people and is characterized by collaboration in a cross-professional team including occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, doctors, secretaries, nurses, care assistants, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists, unit managers, and access to rehabilitation coordinators. The team has consistently high competence, with several specialists and many years of experience. The group is characterized by collegial support, commitment, and ambition to develop, which means we will place great importance on personal suitability. About the Open Position As a psychologist with us, you contribute your specific expertise to create the best conditions for patients and the organization. You participate and share your psychological competence in treatment conferences, assessment and treatment planning, and other relevant assessment meetings. You perform differential diagnostic investigation work, as well as standard psychotherapy assessments and psychotherapy. Your Profile We are looking for a licensed psychologist with experience in specialist psychiatry and the target group. We prefer candidates with additional psychotherapy training in CBT and investigation experience. Since we occasionally conduct home visits, you will need a driver's license.
