Psychologist Sought for Habilitation Family Support Center Are you longing for a workplace where laughter and seriousness can coexist – where we approach difficult situations with warmth, professionalism, and care? About Us The Habilitation Family Support Center consists of two teams and serves the entire Stockholm County area. We are located in pleasant premises at Sabbatsberg Hospital, centrally located in Stockholm. At our Counseling Center for Family Members, we offer counseling support to parents, siblings, partners, grandparents, and other relatives of individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to provide support in managing the emotions, relationships, and challenges that come with being a family caregiver – often related to stress, anxiety, grief, or guilt. We aim to strengthen recovery, promote mental health, and support balance in daily life. Here, you'll meet dedicated colleagues with diverse backgrounds and therapeutic approaches. We value open and respectful collaboration where we share experiences, learn from each other, and have room for both laughter and reflection. About the Position We are seeking a licensed psychologist who wants to work full-time starting March 1, 2026, or by agreement. The work involves assessment conversations, longer counseling contacts (up to approximately 15 sessions), and working with the Four Conversations model. You will also receive training in Navigator ACT and subsequently lead groups with a colleague. This is meaningful and engaging work where you'll meet people in various life situations. To thrive here, you should enjoy working therapeutically, be experienced with numerous conversations, and be able to manage periods of higher intensity sustainably. The work is conducted within the framework of Stockholm County's family support mandate and follows current care programs, guidelines, and procedures. About You We are seeking a psychologist with at least three years of professional experience who feels confident in their role. You have experience with couples or family counseling from a supportive and therapeutic approach, preferably with background in habilitation, psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, or social services. As a person, you are positive, empathetic, and humble, with an ability to build trust. You value good collaboration and contribute to a safe and positive work environment. You respect collective decisions and are a considerate colleague who brings both work joy and humor to daily life. We Offer A stimulating and meaningful job where you can make a real difference for family members and relatives. You'll become part of a warm and engaged team that supports each other, with space for laughter, reflection, and development. We place great importance on personal suitability.
