We are now seeking a psychologist for a one-year temporary position in our multiprofessional team in the northern county area, located in Nora. Child and Youth Habilitation offers support and treatment to children and youth with disabilities, as well as their families and networks. Our team consists of multiple professional disciplines, including social worker, speech therapist, psychologist, special education teacher, doctor, secretary, unit manager, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. Child and Youth Habilitation is part of the Near Care Area. Region Örebro County is one of the region's largest employers and an important growth engine. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will work with children/youth with disabilities aged 0-21 and their families. You will work independently or collaboratively with other professionals. You will have an interesting and developmental job with varied tasks and a dynamic workday. Your work includes: - Conducting cognitive assessments and evaluations - Providing individual treatment to children and youth - Offering parent support - Facilitating group activities with other professionals - Planning, assessing, and implementing interventions independently and in team - Collaborating with partners such as preschool, school, after-school care, short-term housing, etc. You will be part of a psychology group of 13 psychologists with regular external supervision and joint method and skills development. As a new employee, you will have a mentor in your profession and receive internal training. We strive for diversity in treatment methods and theoretical approaches.
