About this role
About the Workplace
Backa Healthcare Center is a newly established full-scale healthcare center located in the Backa area, approximately 2 km east of Karlskoga Center.
Our goal is to grow into a cutting-edge healthcare center that offers excellent primary care for everyone and provides a workplace where people enjoy working.
We are now seeking a licensed psychologist who wants to join us on our journey to build and develop the primary care of the future. In line with our core values of approach, quality, and continuity, we always place the patient's needs at the center. Together, we are building a competent team consisting of general practitioners, nurses, district nurses, diabetes clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, nursing assistants, medical administrative staff, care coordinators, counseling services, and physiotherapists. We work in an interdisciplinary manner where everyone is given great opportunities to influence the work environment and participate in shaping work methods.
Backa Healthcare Center is part of the healthcare company Praktikertjänst, which recently ranked second in the "Sweden's Best Employers" survey by the research company Universum.
About the Job
With us, you'll find a developing workplace with varied tasks and excellent opportunities for development and collaboration across professional boundaries. We actively work to offer care with high accessibility, continuity, and quality! Collaboration is a natural part of our approach - we work daily with specialist physicians, resident physicians, nurses, and physiotherapists.
Common issues we encounter in our clinical work include depression, anxiety disorders, stress-related health problems, sleep issues, and chronic pain. We work using a stepped care approach, where the scope and intensity of interventions are adapted to the patient's needs. If a treatment does not yield the desired results, there are always opportunities for more comprehensive interventions.
We offer a wide range of treatments including assessment, counseling, group treatments, and CBT. The work is done in close collaboration with other professional categories, including multiprofessional treatment of long-term pain and stress.
At Backa Healthcare Center, we are currently building our psychosocial team and have regular internal supervision. The social work environment is important to us. Therefore, it is a matter of course that we take care of and support each other in our daily work. We enjoy working together and look forward to you becoming part of our team!
Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed psychologist with experience working in primary care, preferably with a focus on CBT. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Personal Characteristics
As a person, you are responsible and have a positive attitude towards your work. You are accustomed to providing good service, have an excellent approach to our patients, and it is natural for you to collaborate with other professional categories at the healthcare center. It is important that you have a holistic view of both work and patient and can easily adapt to different circumstances that may arise in the operation.
Additional Information
We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and will conclude the recruitment process when a suitable candidate is found, so do not hesitate to submit your application. We look forward to hearing from you!
