About this role
We are seeking a Psychologist/Psychotherapist for our Youth Mental Health Team at Kvarterskliniken Karlastaden
Kvarterskliniken Karlastaden is part of the Medtanken Group, which now has 11 established Youth Mental Health teams. We have extensive knowledge and experience within our group in managing and developing first-line mental health services.
At Kvarterskliniken Karlastaden, you will find not only Youth Mental Health services but also a medical center, child healthcare, and rehabilitation. Our employees work in close collaboration, and through our broad range of expertise, we can take a holistic approach to our patients' health.
All of our employees are covered by collective agreements.
Job Responsibilities
You will work with children and adolescents' mental health from a primary care perspective, focusing on brief interventions and self-help support. We highly value accessibility. Treatment intensity is tailored to the patient's care needs. Sometimes one or two visits are sufficient. The goal is to increase the patient's quality of life and help them function better in daily life. Our team also has a collaboration mandate, working with and consulting other organizations that interact with children, adolescents, and parents.
We conduct assessments, provide advice and support, and offer interventions both in-person and digitally. We offer a wide range of group interventions for parents, children, and young people needing primary care support for mild mental health issues. We also provide individual therapies based on primary care-adapted Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
In addition to close collaboration with other professionals at the medical center, you will become part of our Youth Mental Health network in the group, which currently has approximately 60 employees in the field. We regularly engage in network work that provides opportunities for collegial collaboration and support.
Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed psychologist or licensed psychotherapist with a CBT orientation. You should have at least one year of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and parents.
You enjoy working both independently and in a team. You feel confident and comfortable in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a positive work environment. Personal suitability and the ability to fit into the team are of utmost importance.
