The habilitation services are a county-wide specialist operation located in five areas of Dalarna - Falun, Borlänge, Mora, Ludvika, and Avesta. Each unit includes Child and Youth Habilitation as well as Adult Habilitation. We work in interdisciplinary teams with medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. The habilitation services have an important and challenging mission to make life more possible for children, adolescents, and adults with congenital or early-acquired disabilities, as well as their relatives. The interventions aim to contribute to a functioning daily life, good quality of life, and participation in society. The positions are primarily based at our reception in Borlänge, but other locations can be discussed. Job Responsibilities
As a psychologist, you will work closely with other professionals at the Habilitation. The work is varied as you will be responsible for both psychological treatment, conducting assessments, diagnosing, and performing functional evaluations, as well as mapping needs and providing individually tailored interventions. You will also provide therapeutic interventions and training and support to the individual, their relatives, staff, and others in the individual's network. You will be offered an introductory program, access to a mentor and supervisor, and you will be part of a professional team alongside psychologist colleagues in the organization. Travel to other reception sites in the county may be included in the position, and these will be conducted during working hours.
