Are you an experienced psychologist / healthcare social worker and want to be part of a team for our patients at our clinic at the health center? About us: Valsta Health Center is part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO), which is one of Sweden's largest healthcare providers. Together, we have over 11,500 employees. Valsta Health Center is located in southwestern Märsta in Sigtuna Municipality. It is easily accessible from both Stockholm and Uppsala by car, bus, or train. We are one of seven health centers in the county that has an asylum reception and conducts health examinations for newly arrived individuals on behalf of the Migration Agency. We are also responsible for providing healthcare at the Migration Agency's detention unit in Märsta, the only one in Stockholm. Valsta Health Center has over 20 employees, approximately 4,500 registered patients, and a child health clinic with about 900 enrolled children. Job Responsibilities: The work includes all tasks associated with a psychologist, psychotherapist, or healthcare social worker at the health center and the detention activities in Arlandastad. Primary care is the first line of care for mental health issues, which involves early psychological assessments, acute assessments, and providing short therapeutic conversation series for mild to moderate mental health issues such as anxiety, sleep problems, stress, and depression. At the detention unit, this includes support conversations with detainees. Tasks for the REKO Rehabilitation Coordinator may occur. Responsibilities include, among others: Motivating and informing identified patients about interventions to prevent sick leave as needed. Assessing the patient's rehabilitation needs. Mapping the patient's ability to work and the demands of the job. Identifying/coordinating rehabilitation efforts in consultation with the treating physician and other health professionals. Establishing an individual rehabilitation plan and return-to-work strategy. Communicating with the patient's employer. Acting as the contact person for the patient with the Social Insurance Agency, healthcare, the Employment Agency, and other parties. We work with physical care/digital care. Digital visits are conducted via the app "Always Open." The work requires broad competence and independence. It is an important and varied role with the opportunity to diversify tasks. Employment Type: Permanent position. Full-time 100%, part-time can be discussed. Working hours Monday to Friday. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement. Requirements: Licensed psychologist or licensed healthcare social worker or social worker (step 1) with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have completed the course "Coordination of the Rehabilitation Process, 7.5 credits at KI" or have equivalent knowledge of insurance medicine. B driver's license. Meritorious: Experience working in Swedish healthcare, asylum, and primary care is advantageous. Good computer skills and experience with the Take Care journal system are meritorious. A plus if you have a CBT focus. Multilingualism. Experience in rehabilitation is advantageous. Good IT skills, especially proficiency in Excel, are meritorious. MI competence. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area: - A background check will be conducted before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
