State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial issues and adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and centers for adults with addiction, throughout the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. SiS LVM Facility Hornö receives men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept men with mental health issues and men with aggressive behaviors. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs.
Job Description
Hornö's two psychologists are a shared resource for the entire organization. This means working on behalf of all departments within the institution. Psychologists' primary tasks include investigation, mapping, and assessment of clients. Our investigation questions often involve neuropsychiatric disabilities, substance abuse, psychiatric comorbidity, i.e., dual diagnoses, and treatment planning based on these. The role also includes suicide prevention and focused treatment interventions with clients. We participate in treatment conferences and provide staff training. At Hornö, you will closely collaborate with psychology colleagues and other work groups in compulsory addiction care. It is crucial that you are a person with good collaborative skills who is interested in working with various professional groups.
Qualifications
Authorized psychologist license. Driver's license and access to a car are required. We seek someone interested in neuropsychology, addiction, psychiatry, forensic psychology, and comorbidity. Experience working in closed care settings such as psychiatry, correctional facilities, addiction treatment, or similar is advantageous. We place significant emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment:
This is a permanent full-time position, starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date to be determined by mutual agreement.
