About this role
Rehabilitation Center located in Värnamo and/or Jönköping
Are you interested in working in somatic specialist care with a focus on behavioral medicine? Do you want to work in an organization that allows you to grow and take your own initiatives? Then this is the position for you!
The Role of Psychologist
Your main responsibilities will include assessing mental health issues and providing psychological treatment, as well as conducting neuropsychological evaluations. The patients you will encounter have various somatic underlying conditions.
As a psychologist, you will be involved in the care throughout all stages of the disease process; from initial onset and acute phase to later follow-up. This often involves collaboration and interaction with other professionals and services that affect patients' daily lives, treatment, and well-being. We see the psychological resource as part of the specialist competence, which may also include supervision and consultation for others.
Together with the clinics at Värnamo Hospital, there is a need to further develop collaboration and working methods, regardless of your workplace. In the rest of the county, the psychologist role is more established, and there are good opportunities to learn across the county and continue to develop together. Leadership will be based at the location from which you primarily operate. As we are a regional clinic, there is a mandate for the entire county, which may involve working at a different hospital than where you are based.
We work with digital solutions and digital patient meetings, which we will continue to develop, so we welcome candidates with an interest in digital treatment methods.
Your Future Workplace
The Rehabilitation Center is a county-wide operation where various competencies and experiences support the development of the patient, the profession, and rehabilitation from a holistic perspective. Regardless of where one lives in the county, patients should have access to equitable rehabilitation of good quality.
Approximately 300 employees work within the Rehabilitation Center across 11 areas with a cross-professional composition based on a person-centered approach.
Your Profile
To be considered for the position, you should be a licensed psychologist, preferably with a CBT focus and experience in neuropsychological evaluation.
As a person, we want you to be proactive and drive processes forward. You are flexible, have a high ability to collaborate, and are good at communicating. You are structured in your work and take responsibility for planning, organizing, and prioritizing your tasks effectively, while also maintaining high quality. You have a holistic view where the patient and their relatives are involved and at the center of your efforts. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Our Offer to You
We offer you a permanent position in a secure organization with good leadership, competent colleagues, and varied tasks.
The role of psychologist in the Rehabilitation Center is both exciting and challenging. Therefore, we see it as important to foster a sense of community among the other psychologists within the Rehabilitation Center. The psychologist group provides collegial support and works on common development processes. There is close and confidential collaboration with the management team and opportunities for influence.
The Rehabilitation Center is at the forefront of care. Further education and advanced knowledge are prioritized, which means opportunities for specialist training that can largely take place during working hours. Regular supervision is offered.
