About the position
The Test and Evaluation Ground (T&E Ground) department conducts various types of testing activities for the needs of ground combat units and is responsible for ensuring that the requirements for the weapons, ammunition, and protection to be delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces are met.
In the role of test technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing resources, skills, and services related to external safety and support for visiting units.
Your tasks will primarily include the management, manufacturing, and repair of target areas, material supply, oversight of land and facilities, as well as maintenance of the vehicle fleet and material care. You will also participate in maintaining safety during shooting exercises and ensure that training facilities and field resources are in good condition.
The position is based in Älvdalen. Travel may be required.
About you
We are looking for someone with a secondary education in a technical or workshop-related field, or equivalent skills acquired in another way that we consider comparable. You have current and relevant experience in practical technical work. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. The position requires a B and C driving license.
It is advantageous if you have any form of training in healthcare. It is also desirable if you have training for operating machinery, such as wheel loaders, forklifts, or brush cutters.
If you have experience driving heavier vehicles, we believe this will assist you in your work with us.
We view positively if you have a bus driver's license and a driving certificate for tracked vehicles 206/208, but this is not a requirement.
