During the trial day, you will be paid for your worked hours.
In disability support services, you work with individuals who have mental, physical, and intellectual disabilities. Your role is to empower each individual to live as independently as possible. Your support should help create good conditions for a functioning home, employment, health, and leisure. You can work in LSS housing, short-term accommodation, daily activities, housing assistance, or personal assistance for children, adolescents, and adults.

About You
We are looking for individuals with diverse experiences and backgrounds, including those who may not yet have much work experience. The most important qualities to us are a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, being attentive, and respecting both clients and colleagues.
For this position, sufficient knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is required to communicate with clients, document care interventions, and obtain medication delegation. You must be at least 18 years old.
Umeå municipality is part of the administrative area for Sami, Finnish, and Meänkieli languages, so knowledge of any of these languages is a merit.

You can express your interest by “applying for the job” and answering the questions. If you are considered for a trial day, we will contact you and provide more information about the day's setup.
The period for trial days runs from week 47 to week 51. The day and time will be scheduled in consultation between the person trying out and the operations. Work shifts can be scheduled during the day or evening.
You are not committing to any further work, but if you are interested in continuing with us after the trial day and we assess that it is feasible, we will assist you in the process of obtaining a part-time job, a summer job, or a permanent position.
Pay for the Trial Day
The pay for this day is based on a fixed rate.
Age 18: 128 SEK/hour
Age 19 and above: 136 SEK/hour
Individual salary setting based on experience and qualifications will apply for any potential continued employment.
