About the Role We are seeking someone who wants to combine their construction technical competence with administrative and coordinating tasks. In this role, you will become a crucial support to our project managers – a key person ensuring projects run smoothly, from planning to final result. You will work at our client's location on Hisingen, where there's a tight-knit team that supports each other, enjoys a good laugh, and maintains an open, collaborative environment. Our client operates in the construction industry with a focus on retail establishment projects. Their work is characterized by short and fast-paced projects where conditions can change quickly. Your Responsibilities • Support project managers with documentation, follow-up, and orders • Coordinate suppliers and contractors • Act as the link between the office, project managers, and construction site • Contribute your construction technical understanding and eye for detail • Create structure and efficiency in ongoing projects • Participate on-site as needed to ensure smooth practical operations The role is primarily office-based (approximately 95%), but your previous experience as a skilled worker makes the difference – you understand how reality works and can translate that knowledge into project order and progress. To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who: - Has a background as a skilled worker, preferably a carpenter or similar - Has good understanding of construction processes and an interest in planning and structure - Enjoys having multiple contact points and managing several threads simultaneously - Is meticulous, communicative, and likes to stay on top of details About the Position: Scope: Full-time Location: Central Hisingen, Gothenburg Working Hours: Daytime Start: Immediately Employment Type: You'll start as a consultant via Posti, with excellent opportunities to be taken on by the client. Your Profile To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you have several years of experience in the construction industry – preferably as a carpenter, concrete worker, or in a similar craft profession. You have a good understanding of how a construction project works in practice and now want to move into a more coordinating and administrative role where you can use your practical knowledge in a new way. Perhaps you have previously worked as a skilled worker and want to develop towards project management, or you already have experience in a supporting role in construction where you've worked on projects focusing on retail establishments. What distinguishes you is your positive attitude, drive, and ability to collaborate.
