Are you ready for a greater challenge? The EU Funds group at the Finance Department is now seeking a Project Coordinator who is structured, solution-oriented, and responsible. We are looking for a colleague with a background in economics who enjoys working with numbers. **Workplace Description** The Swedish Police Authority is the managing authority in Sweden for the European Union's Internal Security Fund (ISF) and the Border Management and Visa Policy Instrument (BMVI). The EU Funds group grants, manages, and controls the use of EU funds that can be applied for by organizations to implement projects that strengthen the EU's internal security, border management, and visa work. The EU Funds group operates within the Finance Department, in the Financial Management unit, and consists of 9 employees and a manager. The group's main workplace is located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. **Job Description** As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating project matters, including project planning, application for funding, project implementation, and reporting and disbursement of EU funds. You will work with financial and qualitative reviews in the case management system Nyps, review funding applications and project reports according to risk assessments. You will prepare decisions regarding funding and disbursement. You will conduct on-site inspections, coordinate the handling of observations from project audits, and prepare decisions on recovery claims. You will prepare and conduct meetings, workshops, and training sessions for applicants and beneficiaries. Monitoring the external environment and networking related to your areas of responsibility with other managing authorities in Sweden and the EU is also part of your role. In your role as Project Coordinator, you will work with: - Preparation of funding applications, including qualitative and financial assessments as well as review of project status and final reports, including applications for disbursement in the case management system Nyps. - Development of documentation for project-related decisions. - Conducting on-site inspections of ongoing projects according to the control plan and risk assessment (business trips within Sweden may occur). - Providing support to applicants and project owners regarding application and reporting requirements. - Preparation and participation in writing workshops, kick-off meetings, and training related to reporting/application for disbursement. **Qualifications:** This is an opportunity for you who have: - An academic degree, preferably in economics (university degree or equivalent as assessed by the employer). - Experience in managing EU-funded projects in a digital case management system, preferably Nyps. - Experience working with materials containing financial and legal content. - Experience reviewing EU co-financed projects. - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As the position is classified, Swedish citizenship is required. **Meritorious:** - Experience in qualitative and financial reviews, preferably of EU co-financed projects. - Good knowledge of the case management system Nyps. - Experience in auditing or accounting. - Knowledge of Swedish procurement regulations. **Personal Attributes:** You are a structured, solution-focused, and responsible person.
