SPIDER (the Swedish Program for ICT in Developing Regions) is an independent center at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV), Stockholm University, focusing on international development cooperation, particularly how digitalization contributes to sustainable global development.

We are now seeking a French-speaking project coordinator for a project where we contribute to bridging the digital divide through capacity development in telecommunications regulation, via inclusive and meaningful connectivity. Job Responsibilities
The role of the project coordinator includes:
- Maintaining and developing administrative routines and processes
- Establishing and managing contracts with partners in Sweden and abroad
- Being responsible for budget tracking for one of SPIDER's projects, contributing to the establishment and analysis of other program budgets
- Handling invoicing and overseeing other financial aspects during project and program follow-up and closure
- Initiating and assisting with procurement, as well as liaising with selected suppliers
- Booking travel, hotels, and conference packages for SPIDER program participants, SPIDER staff, and other events
- Communicating with program participants and partners
- Supporting program participants with visa applications and sharing other important information related to program participation
- Coordinating and administering external and internal meetings, as well as international events
- Convening board meetings and setting the agenda
- Taking minutes for internal and external meetings in English and Swedish
- Managing SPIDER’s documentation
- Proofreading reports and applications
- Administering and implementing quality control during the preparation and decision-making of incoming project applications
- Providing administrative support to the director.
Other administrative tasks within the center may occur.
International travel may be required.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Academic degree or equivalent experience acquired in a relevant field, such as global development, international relations, or sociology.
- Relevant experience in administrative work.
- Fluent and accurate French, both written and spoken.
- Fluent and accurate English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with international work or internships.
- Ability to work results-oriented towards set goals and deadlines, both independently and in a team.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Good collaborative skills with colleagues and social competence.
- Proficient in working with Office programs.
- High initiative and self-driven.
- Strong communication and stylistic skills.
Merits
- Experience working or interning in developing countries, particularly in Africa.
- Experience in aid work.
- Experience managing finances as well as planning and executing events.
- Experience in administrative work within public institutions, preferably within universities.
- Familiarity with the regulations of Stockholm University and SIDA.
- Experience with e-learning management systems (LMS) and their contribution to knowledge sharing.
About the Employment
The position is permanent, full-time, with a six-month probationary period. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date to be agreed upon.
