Project Engineer for Infrastructure and Bridges at Tyréns!

Do you want to help shape the future of bridge construction? Tyréns is now seeking a Design Engineer with technical finesse and communication skills. Job Description As a Design Engineer at Tyréns, you will become a key player in their infrastructure initiatives, positioned in the bridge and construction engineering department – an environment focused on expertise, collaboration, and technical development. You will transform engineers' calculations into visual and technical drawings and participate in the entire process from early investigation stages to detailed design. In the investigation stage, you will develop conceptual bridge alternatives, and in later stages, you will detail design the chosen alternative together with the engineer and Traffic Administration. The role involves close collaboration with multiple technical areas such as road and geotechnical engineering, requiring excellent communication and the ability to see the big picture. Projects are often long-term and vary in size. Additionally, you will contribute to documenting existing facilities and proposing changes. In summary, the role includes: • Visualization and drawing of structures in AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla • Investigation, concept development, and detailed bridge design • Coordination with other technical areas and preparation of AMA descriptions About the Ideal Candidate We are seeking someone who wants to develop in the Design Engineer role and can communicate effectively with various stakeholders and colleagues. You take initiative and are humble about your knowledge and areas where you need support. Your curiosity and desire to develop are crucial to success in the role.
