In the role of Pipeline Network Project Manager, you will lead community development projects within water and sewage pipeline networks of varying size and scope, ranging from expanding major transmission lines, renewing existing pipeline networks, new installations, development areas, and expanding stormwater systems with different technical approaches and implementations. You will manage projects from initial order to final handover to the operations organization, working according to the company's established project model in our project management system. As a Pipeline Network Project Manager, you will work with owner municipalities, colleagues with specialist functions, consultants, authorities, and contractors. You will be responsible for project information to the public and other stakeholders. Here, you are offered an exciting position where you will be responsible for, coordinate, and drive the project group through all project stages in larger projects - both independently and in a team.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Pipeline Network Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Directing, planning, leading, and optimizing your assigned projects.
- Having overall responsibility for tracking project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, progress monitoring, and project results.
- Preparing scope descriptions, decision-making documentation, and technical specifications.
- Participating in project follow-ups and forecasting.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Working with external consultants on certain assigned projects.
- Participating in procurement processes for some assigned projects.
- Playing the crucial role of the project's primary driving force, executing work according to established plans.
- Managing other tasks related to the project management role.
The position is located in the Investigation and Project department, within the team primarily working with pipeline networks. You will be part of a competent and tight-knit group consisting of investigation engineers, project designers, water and wastewater engineers, project and construction managers.
Your Profile
To succeed in the Pipeline Network Project Manager role, we are seeking someone who wants to be part of a larger context focused on preparing water and wastewater infrastructure for the future in Halmstad and Laholm. To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer.
- Several years of experience in managing and driving projects.
- Good knowledge of construction law and familiarity with industry standards like AMA, AB, ABT, and ABK, and experience working with technical frameworks.
- Relevant work experience in urban development or project management of infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in project-oriented organizations.
- Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience working with water and wastewater pipeline networks is meritorious.
