Do you want to develop and contribute in a role where your efforts make a difference in people's daily lives? Then this might be the position for you! Job Responsibilities As a project manager within Street/Water and Sewage (GATA/VA) at Gislaved Municipality, you are responsible for driving both small and large infrastructure projects – from planning to implementation and follow-up. The role involves proposing action alternatives, making decisions on measures, and allocating resources within the project framework. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - Civil or university engineering degree in construction or infrastructure technology, or equivalent education. - Several years of experience leading projects in infrastructure/development, at various stages. - Familiarity with AB and ABT standards, and good knowledge of AMA standards. - Experience as a BAS-P (Construction Coordination Safety Manager). - Good knowledge of permit and approval processes in land and development projects. - Ability to understand technical material and clearly convey it to others. - Class B driver's license (the position involves travel within the municipality). Meritorious It is an advantage if you have: - Experience acting as a public client and good knowledge of LOU (Public Procurement Act) and contract procurement. - Understanding of legal aspects in the procurement process. - Previous work in a politically governed organization. - Field work experience. Your employee role is deeply associated with your ability to collaborate and participate in your and the organization's development. For us, this means having good cooperation with managers and colleagues, both in your workplace and throughout the municipal organization. You approach everyone with a high service level, friendliness, and quality through customer and service focus. You take responsibility for becoming involved in operational issues and are solution-oriented. We place great importance on personal suitability and that your view of employee participation aligns with ours. We apply register checks (criminal record extract) as a form of suitability assessment for all who are offered employment in activities with direct and regular contact with children and youth. Want to be part of our success? Welcome with your application! At Gislaved Municipality, full-time is a right, and therefore job openings are advertised as full-time positions. When the organization can accommodate part-time, it is of course an option. *Positions shorter than 3 months and certain positions may be exempt. In preparation for the recruitment work, Gislaved Municipality has taken a stance on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore firmly decline contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
