The Elderly Administration is responsible for citywide issues concerning elderly care, as well as coordinating, developing, and following up on elderly care in the city in dialogue with the district committees. The Elderly Administration is currently involved in several projects, including the digitalization of social services and the transition to a new social services act. We are now seeking a driven and experienced project manager for the Development and Support Unit, who wants to help drive our development forward. Welcome to us The Development and Support Unit is part of the operational department, Stockholm's Security Service. We are an internal support unit that plays an important role in strengthening and streamlining the department's operations and the administration as a whole. Through our work, which includes providing cross-departmental support in areas such as coordination, planning, investigation, development, asset management, follow-up, and quality work, we contribute to creating better conditions for the city's elderly. Your role As a project manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and participating in various projects – from idea to implementation and handover to management. You will lead project teams and work closely with clients, users, and other stakeholders within both operations and IT. The projects vary in nature and scope, but the common denominator is often operations-driven development supported by IT. The target groups for the projects can vary; from citywide projects involving the city's districts to internal projects within the Elderly Administration. Your tasks will include: - Developing and following up on project plans, timelines, and goals - Leading project teams and coordinating internal and external resources - Identifying risks and managing changes throughout the project - Ensuring that the projects deliver benefits and contribute to the city's overall goals. You will be part of a unit characterized by a humble, curious, and results-oriented working approach. Here, we work together, share knowledge, and support each other to achieve our common goals. You will report to the unit manager. Your qualifications and experience We expect you to have: - A higher education degree deemed relevant by the employer - Several years of current experience as a project manager, business developer, or change leader - Experience in planning and leading complex projects with responsibility for results, time management, stakeholder engagement, and resources - A good ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have: - Good knowledge of the City of Stockholm's organization or other municipal operations - Experience in digitalization efforts - Experience in procurement and contracts - Experience in statistics and analysis work.
