Project Manager for Real Estate Company

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in energy optimization within the real estate sector. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on December 7, 2025, and continue until December 31, 2026. **About the Assignment** In the role of Project Manager, you will be part of the Technical Unit at our client’s organization. This unit is responsible for technical installations and their support systems, which involves planning and managing energy optimization and maintenance, as well as meeting associated regulatory requirements. The Technical Unit also represents the client perspective with business requirements, monitoring, and verification of functions to ensure the company's responsibilities as a property owner, employer, landlord, and developer in terms of quality, environment, work environment, and sustainable economy. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on ongoing and future energy initiatives. In this role, you will have a coordinating and leading function and will be responsible for driving projects from start to finish. The work will be conducted in close collaboration with the Technical Unit, the management organization, and contractors. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for: - Planning for the upcoming year's energy work, where adjustments to heating systems will be a significant part. When planning for the adjustment of heating systems, the specific needs for renovation and adjustment of particular properties will be weighed together with other parameters. - Preparing documentation and applying for project funding to plan, initiate, execute, and complete energy projects. - Maintaining and updating plans for the various energy projects. - Providing documentation to contractors to ensure smooth project execution. - Receiving and administering documentation after the completion of work. - Informing internally about ongoing work. - Monitoring project finances and reporting status in various internal forums. - Coordinating internal contacts and inquiries. - Establishing routines and instructions, as well as participating in and leading various technical investigations. - Proposing improvements in processes and methods. **Additional Information:** - Assignment Period: December 7, 2025 - December 31, 2026 (with the possibility of extension) - Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week - Location: Stockholm - Possibility of remote work: Yes **About You** We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements: - Relevant higher education in energy systems or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way. - 10 years of experience in a similar role within operational/technical management, project management, or related fields in the real estate sector, with a focus on residential companies. - Good knowledge of laws, regulations, contract law, and standards within HVAC and energy. - Experience in project management of extensive renovations and adjustments of heating systems in larger residential companies. - Significant experience with large-scale projects aimed at optimizing hot water and heating systems in apartments. - Experience with contractual issues related to energy requirements and verification. - Very good knowledge of financial management of projects. - Knowledge of property economics, investment calculations, and financial assessments. - Good IT system skills, administrative experience, and familiarity with digital working methods. - Strong ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. - Valid driver's license (B category).
